I just stumbled upon this article, and it's a good read: The Focus Camper's Bible. The article talks about misconceptions relating to Focus camping, and is supposed to be the first in a series.
- Camping keeps a caster safe.
- The most important thing in a camping caster is how well they camp.
- If you survive their assassination attempt you get to assassinate them.
- Eiryss is the bane of campers.
- The opponent’s decision about whether or not to assassinate will be based on odds.
I have been checking the museonminis site out a bit, but I find it really annoying how hard it is to actually figure out what each post is about when reading the intro. It seems that they like giving the posts stupid names, instead of something logical telling you what it's about. Besides, the summery isn't really a summery. It's just the first 500 characters of the post. Maybe it's just me, but I think it makes it hard to find out if there's anything interesting hiding in their posts :)
ReplyDeleteAs to the post you are referring, that's actually very interesting. Not something I have thought about before, but I most certainly will in the future.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree. There are some nice articles on that site, but it's amazingly hard to navigate.
ReplyDeleteThanks for pointing that article out. Its an interesting experiment. All too often I get sucked into the spend all my focus trap and then realize I'm a bit closer to the enemy than I wanted to be...
ReplyDeleteduskern is right - that site is hard to navigate. The summaries need to be better.
However I like the camping article. I hope he adds more to it. I like his comments on Gorman + Anastasia
I can't remember what Anastasia can do, but one should think twice about exposing ones caster if Gorman is arround. Black oil will fuck up your game :)
